My Wrestling Room Inc. is the brainchild of Christopher E. Lenzi and James P. McHale Jr. Chris and Jim, two former NCAA wrestlers, remain committed to a sport they believe underscores the value, passion, work ethic and character building traits these successful business executives possess today.
The underpinnings behind this venture center on a concept of advancing the great sport of wrestling through direct sales of wrestling gear, financial support to wrestling programs and event sponsorships. A web presence has been developed to disseminate information regarding team and tournament schedules, directions and camps. There is also a section where coaches can share tips and strategies across the nation.
We have a special interest in assisting the youth and modified leagues. These special groups of kids are the platform from which great wrestling programs grow. We want to help ignite their inner spirit and set them on a course to be successful in both wrestling and life.
When developing our product line we did extensive research on gear and accessories. We found our competitors created an environment of “option anxiety” – too many products to choose from. Accordingly we have conducted interviews, scouted tournaments and surveyed our extensive list of contacts to offer the best quality gear at a competitive investment. We have made a conscious decision to weed out under-performing products.
As former wrestlers we understand that when choosing gear one must acknowledge the wrestling mindset:
- What makes wrestlers get up before dawn to workout?
- How do they push themselves beyond their limits?
- Who makes these incredible sacrifices to be successful?
Your gear is part of the embodiment and it needs to serve a purpose. It is our goal to meet this requirement.
