My Wrestling Room stock a fantastic range of kids wrestling shoes from some of the biggest brands in the sports industry. Buying a good pair of wrestling shoes for your child can often be a tricky task. It’s often difficult to decide on a size that is comfortable for them to wear here and now, but still provide growing room, as children’s feet grow so quickly. We recommend that you add half a size to your child’s current shoe size, as this should give you the perfect fit for our Asics and Adidas shoes. If you do have any problems with sizing, don’t hesitate to contact us. We can provide you with a free exchange, to ensure you get shoes that fit properly.
Most of the wrestling shoes at My Wrestling Room have lace covers, which is important if your child is entering in matches, as it can prevent their opponent from damaging their fingers if they get caught up in the laces.
Wrestling shoes are a must-have for matches and tournaments; however it is important that you practice in them as well. They are designed to mimic bare feet, offering better support to your foot arches and ankles. They allow you to be light on your toes and give you better grip on the mat, enabling you to concentrate on bringing your opponent down.
Our kids wrestling shoes are available from a kid’s size 11 to a size 5. Some styles will go up to a 5.5 or 6, however if your child’s feet are any bigger, then you will be looking to buy adult men’s shoes. ASICS have recently released the Gel Matflex 3 GS for the 2011 to 2012 wrestling season, which are an upgrade on the previous version and are available in black, red and royal blue.
