About Adidas

In 1949, Adolf Dassler registered his company name, taking parts of his first and second name to
create Adidas. He created football boots, which would be the star of the 1954 world cup. Driven to
help athletes compete at their optimum, Adidas produced products for fringe sports such as the high
jump. During the next 50 years, Adidas produced a range of merchandise for many different sports,
and by 1996 had equipped 6000 Olympic athletes from 33 countries with the 3-stripe brand. The
Adidas team bought home 220 medals of which 70 were gold. Adidas collaborated with other major
brands and most recently acquired Reebok.

In the world of Wrestling, Adidas provides a range of products from their technologically advanced
shoes, which give great grip, from the radial curve sole, fantastic ankle support through the lace up
structure and are incredibly breathable.

In the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Adidas sponsored Henry Cejudo became the youngest American
Freestyle Wrestler to bring home the gold. After winning 4 state championships, Cejudo rocketed to
Wrestling Stardom in the Olympics.

The 2012 Olympics are being held in London, UK. Adidas will be coming out with the Adizero London
Wrestling Shoes in February 2012 in honor of the Olympic games. Opponents will go head to head
