Youth Wrestling Singlets

The Wrestling Singlet is a one piece tight fitting uniform. Usually made from spandex or Lycra, the singlet is tight fitting so that opponents cannot grab hold of your wrestling uniform. It also allows the referee to clearly see the position of your body and your opponents on the mat, so that he can make the right call and award points.

While youth wrestlers can wear t shirts and shorts at practice, singlets must be worn for youth wrestling tournaments. Reversible Singlets

If you’re a freestyle or Greco-Roman Style Wrestler a reversible singlet will be required to compete. Remember the rules for Folkstyle Wrestling (high school and college) are much more different than freestyle and Greco-Roman which are the international styles used in the Olympics.

The Adidas Lehigh allows you to change colours simply by turning the singlet inside out. Made from toughtex Lycra with black leg and arm trim this specimen is perfect for amateur, high school and college team wrestlers, who compete in freestyle in the off-season. Brute and Matman also offers a red and blue reversible singlet, with a black trim.

The Matman goodwill Wrestling Singlet is a low cut version, which is great for freestyle or Greco Roman style wrestling.
