We wish him much success here at the Wrestling Room. He is now the youngest head coach in Division 1. I love the energy and excitement!

This is a subject that is near and dear to my heart. An olympic presence sends a strong message!

It is great to see programs that seek out winners to lead their team. Penn State wrestling is a perennial winner that has just gotton better!

Former Purdue Wrestling grappler, Jon Fitch is set to battle for the UFC Welterweight

From what I have seen wrestlers fare very well in this mixed martial arts type of event

"the Purdue wrestling program has made some solid contributions to the international wrestling and mixed martial arts world"

I believe wrestling can be a great platform for this type of sport. Martial arts build confidence but wrestlers get it done!

DiSavlo promoted to head assistant wrestling coach at Central Michigan

The wrestling landscape is full of changes this offseason. Coach Borrelli has filled a slot that was vacated by his assistant that went to work for Cael Sanderson!

"Disalvo was a two-time all american at 149lbs during his collegiate career"

The strategic moves are in place. Season is rolling upon us quickley!

Wrestlers probably have the highest level of intelligence. Here is another example of greatness off the mat!

Wrestler Kocer up for an ESPY

You gotta love it when a grappler makes Americas favorite sports network!

"Kocer was on of four athletes from around the country that was nominated for the ESPY in the category "Best Male Athlete with a Disability."

"After the injury, Kocer a three time state champion wrestler, was back on the mat by January."

How do you not root for this guy! Hoping he wins. Great person for our sport.

Southern Oregon wrestling family mourns the loss of two-time national champion

Always sad to hear about the passing of a champion wrestler. A sad reminder we are all human.

"Brent Lofstedt, 47, a two-time NAIA National Champion for Southern Oregon, passed away Wednesday."

"He is the father of current SOU Wrestler three time all american, Trevor Lofstedt."

Sounds as though his son will carry on the family tradition of being a champion! Our condolences

Hazewinkel, Mango, Gavin, Herbert among winners at University World Team Wrestling Trials on Saturda

I love the fact these great former collegiate wrestlers continue the passion into the next level. These are big names!

Cunningham leaves Central Michigan coaching staff to accept position at Iowa State

Sanderson is making some moves to sure up his staff!

A game of chess takes place prior to every season. CMU's loss is Iowa St's gain here. Life will go on.
